Originally created in 1901 by Willie Fernie, Strathendrick Golf Course was lengthened in 1905, greatly improving the course and presenting numerous natural hazards and difficulties capable of giving the most expert golfer a more severe test of their game.
There has been little change to the course layout since, with the nature of any modifications made being those of refinement rather than dramatic. A programme of tree planting, mainly conifers, in the 1990's has added more of a parkland feel. Further planting of a mix of deciduous trees in 2020 and 2021 will, once established, add further natural beauty to the course as well as attract more wildlife.
Our course photo guide gives hole by hole descriptions, or you can have a look at short videos of the holes on YouTube.
